After a lifetime of global travel for the oil industry the Nguyen Gia was simply one of the most impressive hotels I have ever stayed in. It is not flash and makes no pretence of being a Ritz, but whoever planned it clearly knew their business, their target market and economy range. As a four star hotel they have absolutely nailed it, it excels, the pool, the views and rooms, of varying size to suit most budgets have been very well thought out, offer every amenity you might hope for, and are made of quality fittings and workmanship. The cleanliness and eagerness to please by one and all was overwhelming, wherein lies the real reason I so enjoyed this hotel - the staff. They are genuinely a delight to know and (I am old and on crutches) keen to do everything possible to make my stay enjoyable and I was actually sad to leave such nice people I had grown fond of. Amazing hotel with a 2 minute walk to the beach across the stress. The location was perfect, in the heart of Da Nang but still not in the most crowded area. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were amazing and so heartwarming, the breakfast was top notch. If we visit Da Nang again we know where to stay.
