On arrival we were greeted by our friendly host and shown to our room which was exceptional. It was clean, air conditioned and the bed was extremely comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious, we loved the coconut sambal and Dahl. For a small price of 2,500 Sri Lankan rupee you can have dinner which included a selection of five curries, rice and papadums. The home stay will organise your day trips to sigiriya and the temple etc. Nothing to fault, it was the perfect, quiet, secluded place to stay. Highly recommend.

If you are going to Dambulla there is really only one place to stay and it is this. The approach to the villa is nothing short of enchanting with beautiful gardens and verandahs overflowing with art. Everywhere is immaculate; bedrooms, bathrooms and gardens, and the hospitality extended by the staff is the greatest advertisement Sri Lanka could ever have. Convenient for a walk into Dambulla, and yet feels a million miles away from the busy life in town. Walking to Dambulla Cave and Temple took about 25 minutes. Would also recommend Popham's Arboretum, particulary the night walk safari, within walking distance or short Tuk Tuk ride away. All trips can be arranged by staff at the Villa for good prices. Sigiriya Rock also close by Tuk Tuk, seeing it from Pidurangala Rock was the highight for us.

This hotel has exceptional friendly and attentiv staff. The well designed garden offers a space for absolute relaxtion and peace. If you are looking for that this might be a place for you to consider. The room was pefectly clean. Matress was comfortible. The bathroom was modern and we enjoyed the shower a lot. The owners offer Tuktuk Rides to the city, they offer bikes and also driving services to any sightseeing point. Our driver was a lovely young man that drove safely and very patient. We would definitly book this accomodation again.

Delicious food, we planned an early morning safari so the hotel staff made us breakfast before (5:30 am!) which was very nice! The rooms are clean and spacious, bed was good, aircondition was good. Host was very friendly and helpful!
