We had an excellent stay at Symoia Nature Park. The breakfast was delicious and different on each of the two days we spent here. Madu and Sanjee were extremely attentive and made sure we had a wonderful experience. The welcome was very warm – I won’t reveal the surprise, so it can have the same impact for future guests. The room was spotless! On one of the days, Sanjee was our guide and we enjoyed truly authentic experiences: a ride in an ox-drawn cart, a boat trip on the lake, cooking and eating in a traditional Sri Lankan rustic kitchen. We fed a domesticated elephant, visited a gems shop where I bought some very beautiful earrings, and we also visited Sigiriya Lion’s Rock. We did all of this in a single day, without rushing – everything was perfectly organized. And I almost forgot to mention the delicious cocktails they prepared for us! Madu and Sanjee are wonderful people, the house is very clean, the food is excellent, and their recommendations helped us have a great holiday. I highly recommend this place!

Simoya is amazing! The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and so beautifully presented. Our hosts Mahdu and Sinjay looked after us so well, we didn’t want to leave! Such a beautiful family ! The breakfasts and dinner were outstanding , Mahdu is a fantastic cook and there was so much delicious food! The location was excellent and the park grounds just beautiful! Highly recommend

When we arrived there were beautiful flowers everywhere in the bedroom. We were shown round the property by the lovely hosts Madhu and Sanjee. The hosts were also super helpful arranging transport and really good prices and short notice. They also helped arrange our laundry to be done. The food was amazing and all home cooked, with lovely views of all the nature and animals. It’s a truly cultural experience staying with them as they welcome you into their home, family and cultural traditions which really makes you feel like you’ve experienced the true Sri Lanka. We have been travelling around the country since and haven’t experienced anything else like this

Beautifully presented with flowers sprinkled over the bed and in the vanity bowl. Located away from any noise and handy to Temple Cave and amongst natural habitat & cheeky monkeys.
