A genuine homestay with a lovely family who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived! We were served a delicious home cooked dinner and breakfast and really felt like part of the family. We learned so much about Sri Lanka and the area surrounding the property and nothing was too much trouble. If you want an authentic family stay with good food and fabulous Sri Lanken hospitality, then this is the place. It was also exceptional value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at Kon Tree Shade. The family is extremely kind and welcoming, Venishiya is an amazing cook and her son is a very funny guy, we enjoyed talking to them and getting to know them day by day. The room was nice and comfortable, the shower has hot water and there's a washing machine available in the room. Good position close to Dambulu Oya bus stop. Breakfast and dinner are a must! So tasty and home made with love. We felt at home❤️ thank you so much to this beautiful family! Bohoma istuti, ayubowan👋🏻
