My girl and I spent three unforgettable days at this hotel. The way the host cares for his hotel with warmth, hospitality, and tenderness gives you chills and a sense of awe. On the grounds, you’ll find a perfect pool, well-groomed greenery, paths and trails, mango and mandarin trees. We were enchanted by the local ritual of lighting wax from a candle that first morning—it added such magic to our stay. Every chalet has a piece of the owners’ souls poured into it—you feel it in the little things: a hairdryer, the selection of teas, spotless cleanliness, working equipment, and most importantly—uninterrupted hot water and hygiene. The chalets also have repellents in the outlets, mosquito nets hanging, air conditioning and a fan. High ceilings and varied lighting add even more coziness to the space. Our absolute favorite spot became the veranda with fairy lights and a set of table and chairs. There we drank tea and ate fruits, for which the host graciously provided a mesh cover. We’re so grateful to the host Dilum for his big heart, hospitality, and captivating stories! Turns out, we were former colleagues! We also want to thank the cooks for the extraordinary breakfast they prepared, with attention to all our dietary preferences. We wish this place growth and prosperity. Health and happiness to all the staff. We feel like we visited our family, and that kind of energy when found abroad is priceless.”
