Fantastic location with direct ocean view and super friendly staff who made me feel welcome from the very first moment and helped me make some phone calls in Arabic. Big thank you to Aya and Ashraf for being super hosts! Note that the sea view rooms are very small, no space on the floor to open a big suitcase - but it’s ok for 1-2 nights (I had to open my suitcase in the bathroom/shower). To be fair, I was offered one of the rooms on the other side but preferred the smaller room for the views

The hotel is located walking distance from the airport in front of the lagoon, however because of the massive building works in and around Dakhla at the moment it is noisy and dusty all around. It is nothing wrong with the hotel itself, the staff was amazing, very good quality restaurant on a 3rd floor, the room size just about ok for 2 people and would be a nice view from the balcony... If you are planning to visit Dakhla before 2027 and want to stay nois and dust free, I would suggest to look for accommodation at least 5km outside the city, saying that I think once the building works will finish, the price of the accommodation in Dakhla will go up sharply

The Playa Hotel is perfectly located on the corniche a few metres from the sea and very central to the main town. There are a host of cafes and restaurants on the main Boulevard just a few minutes walk and a cafe next door which serves breakfast . The double rooms all have sea views and we were upgraded free of charge to a suite which comprised of 2 double bedrooms, a sitting room with TV and a bathroom with shower and toilet . The suites do not have sea views , but they are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant on the 3rd floor is bright and spacious with stunning sea views. The food was excellent and beautifully presented . The staff were welcoming and attentive and I cannot fault it in any way .🙏🏼
