Fantastic location for visiting the Transfăgărășan highway and Vidraru Dam. The staff were friendly and room clean. The dogs at the lodge were super cute and friendly!

This charming pension along the panoramic road up to the mountains exceeded my expectations. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The food was excellent, and the cook was really flexible regarding orders for the breakfast. The location is perfect for nature lovers—peaceful and scenic. I appreciated that dogs are welcome for a reasonable fee, and even though there are "wild" dogs around, they didn’t cause any issues with my own dog (I decided to take mine off the leash immediately). Just a small tip: keep an eye out for bears if you intend exploring the area!
