The location is spot on for all the necessary needs all within walking distance, beaches, shops, restaurants, train station and ferry.

We cooked our own breakfast. I love Cronulla that's why I booked to stay there but wanted and expected an oceanfront balcony

We loved the view to Cronulla's famous Shark Island and the open ocean via the balcony and dining room window. There was plenty of warm bed linen and heating enough that no one felt cold even thought Sydney is a lot colder than Bribie in the winter time. The huge TV was a big hit with the kids, as were the bunk beds with the roll-out bed. All 3 big kids slept in one room and mum, dad and baby in portacot in the other room - even though we are a family of 6 we didn't feel crowded. We loved the kitchen facilities including the espresso machine and made breakfast, lunch and dinner as often as eating out which helped us stick to our travel budget. The big wardrobe cupboards in the bedrooms allowed us to unpack our bags and stow our suitcases which was really appreciated to keep clutter to a minimum in the bedrooms.
