Although only 5 minutes drive from the main road that leads from Brasov to Sighisoara, Critz Cross will offer you the experience of an old traditional house from a remote village. Ideal for those in search of a quiet place, as the house is situated at the edge of the village. The place is really clean and the hosts are very friendly. You will enjoy a traditional breakfast, most of the food produced by our hosts. I would also recommend dinner at the location, for those who seek a slow food experience.

The village is very beautiful! The house is gorgeous, very well restored and tastefully decorated. We got the room with the fireplace, which was lovely, and it was nice that it was lit, as it was very cold and the room was very warm. The décor is typically Romanian but very tasteful. The ritual toiletries are excellent, 10 out of 10. The room where dinner and breakfast are served is beautiful, with a fireplace, super cosy. The host was friendly. The wifi works really good. It's more expensive than other places in the area, but it's worth it.

Adrian came to find us as we got a little lost! He is a wonderful host with a great sense of humour. The property has been beautifully renovated. Our room was large with a huge comfortable bed. It was a little cold but the heating soon warmed it up. We had dinner and a bottle of wine at the property which was delicious and reasonably priced. We didn’t realise the shutters for the windows were outside so the room was a bit bright at night but would be perfect had we thought to close them! Breakfast was excellent, all fresh, local produce. We really enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful location, a perfectly refurbished rustic saxon farmhouse with lovely big room. Ideal place to relax and unwind! We had a delicious home cooked breakfast and evening meal served in the open sided barn. Well stocked honesty bar on site and we also had a shared fridge and coffee machine with the neighbouring room. The owners were away so we were looked after by the lovely Gina, despite our lack of Romanian she made us feel incredibly welcome and was always on hand if we needed anything, I've never stayed anywhere that you are so well looked after! The village is really pretty, we loved seeing the authentic rural life and everyone was so friendly and greeted us with Buna Ziua (hello) when we walked round. We wished we had stayed more than one night and will definitely be back!
