Staff were friendly, evening food was very good. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Bathroom a little tired. Had to leave before breakfast. For the price you just can not knock it. Would definitely go back.

The room was large, clean and quiet. The room even had a fridge. The location was great for me as it was a stop-off point. As far as I know there are no attractions close by but as I said that didn't matter to me. Although it's part of a pub the bar is far enough from the room so you can't hear talking from the bar. I'm not a breakfast person but the English breakfast was very tasty. A proper sausage that looks like it's been done in a frying pan not like most other places where the sausages are small, look like they've been boiled instead of being fried. And it wasn't greasy.

Very friendly owners who put customer care first. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and always have the little extras. It is also dog friendly which is a huge plus and all in all good value for money.
