Lovely quiet location in a pretty part of the town with cobbled streets , yet only a few minutes walk from the restaurants and shops. Great location for visiting the local area and for a quick train trip into the centre of Paris. The thick stone walls kept it nice and cool despite the hot temperatures outside. Nice secluded courtyard garden. Although there is no parking on site, we had no trouble finding parking nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

This amazing period property is quintessentially French with all the necessary amenities for self catering. Situated in the heart of Crépy-en-Valois, guests can come and go as they please within the town which has a selection of eateries and bakeries to choose from. The cottage is 11 minutes away from the station allowing for a great day trip to Paris, a journey of only 36 minutes. We were impressed with the ease of access on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the escape and the cool shelter from warm summer days offered by this hidden gem of a property. And enjoyed days out and evenings in. We made use of the fantastic location and nearby boulangeries for breakfast before venturing out. I am sad that we only stayed 3 nights.
