Cosy, comfortable, clean, good food, and helpful and friendly staff, historical building with features and fireplaces. Country restaraunt with fresh country produce. They accomodated requests. I had the best nights sleep! Good price!

Really wasn’t sure what to expect after travelling down from London on the train late on a Friday afternoon. As soon as I walked in, any reservations melted away thanks to the warm welcome and the open fires.

Eagle Tavern was absolutely amazing, the food, the hotel, the pub, all fantastic, this place is absolutely beautiful... Staff was lovely, very helpful and accommodating... Already planning on staying again...

It is located a gorgeous little village and very quaint inside - it was beautiful and service was fantastic. Communicated with me when having problems with travelling and nothing was a bother. Would come here again. Food was very tasty!
