This place is special! It is right in the middle of the rainforest and everything felt really thoughtful - kind of like the old days of Airbnb! The wraparound deck was beautiful, and there are so many places to sit, hang out, and take in the nature. There were lots of great touches - a basket full of insect stuff, toiletries, cooking bits, towels left out for the outdoor bath, washing supplies, record player, games, books about the birds, binoculars; the list could go on! Ray was a pleasure to communicate with. Getting in was super easy, and the location is good for getting around the Daintree along the main roads. When I am back in grey London I will try and transport myself back here!

A lovely secluded spot where we could enjoy nature and relax with family. Host very helpful and talked us through what to do to get the generator running when we had a power outage. Bird watching from the outdoor bath was a big hit with our young children! House very well equipped with facilities needed for an enjoyable stay

Peace & Quiet Ray is a fabulous host, and the house was warm and inviting. Everything you could need was there at the ready. Beautiful breeze comes through the property, which is fabulous. Cow Bay Beach is just down the road and is a very pretty beach to visit. Location is great if you want to do your own touring at your leisure.
