Thank you so much to the hosts of this wonderful place! You can truly feel the love, care, and peaceful atmosphere here — it makes you feel at home right away. A special thank you for the warm welcome to us and our dog: we felt genuinely appreciated from the very first minute, and it was especially nice that there was no extra charge for our dog. The rooms are very comfortable, everything is thoughtfully arranged, and the beds are truly cozy — we slept amazingly well. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with plenty of choice. A special thanks to the owner for the incredibly delicious dinner — it was such a lovely, homey touch. And an extra mention for the animals on the property: the pony completely stole my heart ❤️ We had a wonderful time and left with a feeling of warmth and gratitude. We would love to come back!

If you want to stay at an authentic Portuguese family hotel, I can highly recommend Villa Silene. The family is incredibly hospitable and helpful. The rooms are cosy, clean and tidy...and an extra bonus was that we were allowed to bring our dog... at no extra cost. We had dinner at the hotel, which consisted of cod and potatoes cooked in the traditional way... it was very tasty. Breakfast in the cosy dining room consisted of an abundance of everything, with many local products... everything tasted very good. So a big thank you to Ana and her family for a pleasant hotel experience.

The breakfast that was included was above and beyond. We received a full pot of espresso coffee. There was bread that was freshly baked from the oven and still warm , butter and margarine, Jam, honey, Marmalade . A locally made huge wedge of cheese. That was the local prize winning cheese. Plus couple of other cheeses. Three kinds of sliced meats. Orange juice. Fabulous breakfast. Served in a nice sunny dining room. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. My bed, which was a twin bed was comfortable. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained. We didn't swim because it wasn't quite warm enough mid-september.
