What a hotel, absolutely amazing! I loved every part of it. 12th century. So much history and character. My double luxury room was spacious, including having a four poster bed, and grand antique furniture. The ensuite was large. I loved the high ceiling too. Such a peaceful and calming place to rest and sleep, The breakfast buffet was delicious, perfect! The staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. I must give a shout out to Bhargav, who was at reception when I checked in. He was very receptive, helpful, charming and professional. After settling in my room, he gave me a courtesy call to check if I was okay. How thoughtful and kind! On the morning of checking out (Sun 17th May), the Asian lady (I'm so sorry I forgot her name!), was so nice pre-booking a taxi for me before checking out later. She was very nice and helpful. She worked alongside Bhargav that morning. Great combined service from them both.

the slogan is : not an ordinairy hotel which covers it all. Old Abbey from 1050 orso with the original athmosphere and modern rooms. all good
