The hotel was absolutely stunning, the members of staff were very friendly and professional. Never felt so welcomed somewhere before. The hotel views, the decor and the history of this property was just incredible, I will definitely be returning. Me and my partner absolutely enjoyed our stay! Our room was even upgraded as it was our first time staying. Amazing hotel and amazing staff! I would highly recommend!

We paid £25 for a room upgrade to stay in a beautiful feature room, 4 poster bed lovely on suite bathroom, and a separate dressing room area . We had dinner in the garden bar area food was lovely as usual, and the room price includes self service breakfast lots of choice for all dietary preferences. This was our 5th stay in Coombe abbey. We usually book end of November beginning December to celebrate our Wedding anniversary- and it is magical during Christmas season.

Beautifully presented period property set in gorgeous surroundings. We were at an event in the marquee with about 300 people. Really impressed with the food and the organisation. Food came out on hot plates and was really very good for an event of that size.

Did a murder mystery, great show and food. Breakfast in the garden room was excellent plenty of choice and delicious there was also lots of lovely places to sit and enjoy a drink in the gardens esp with the weather being nice and warm and enjoy the stunning views of the house and grounds. All the staff were very friendly and helpfull.

We loved the history of the place and its location. Evening bar meal was good but hot buffet breakfast was a little disappointing.

Hotel was stunning. We came for a tribute night in the marquee with friends and it didn't disappoint. The bedroom had everything we needed, the shower was powerful and towels big enough. The surrounding area just beautiful. Nice weather so it was lovely to sit in the garden with the use of the outside bar. Would definitely stay again. Drinks a little more expensive than most places but it's a more upmarket venue and to just sit in a beautiful venue and location was worth it.

It was lovely and we have it as a good memories! There was some niggles however, the heating system was rather sweltering and, despite the fact we had stated we where a disabled couple... where given twin bed instead of a double... now I'm not calling them out for ableisam, I just thought it quite odd that we weren't asked if we would like a double? It was kinda baffleding. Oh... and there was a unflushed loo upon arrival. They did however do there best to rectify the situation, and despite the niggles the room was great and room service was excellent, yummy infact! If only we had asked they would have also sorted out the heating which we had try to fix ourselves to little success. The hotel is amazingly beautiful, with great decor, with a very romantic atmosphere. Would recommend for a couples retreat!
