Perfect location to get to several vineyards, beautiful views, very responsive staff, and value for money. The pool was brilliant!

The accommodation was fantastic, the hotel is the same as in the photos, the facilities are old. The view from the room is amazing on the Douro River and the vineyards. The staff took care of us, the breakfast was good. But the road to the hotel is difficult, narrow roads and winding:) The trip to Pinhao and the boat ride on the Douro River were beautiful.

Absolutely fabulous views! The room was huge and very comfortable and with great views. The quinta itself was fabulous with some eclectic art and furnishings but it all added to the experience. Breakfast was great and the evening meals with fellow guests always enjoyable. We looked at the prices at other quintas and this was extremely reasonable by comparison.
