Lovely historic chateau hotel . Friendly and efficient staff

The chateau is conveniently situated between Reims and Soissons so an ideal stopping point if travelling across France from east to west or vice versa. It is situated in a small historic village. The staff gave us a short tour of the chateau outlining its long history and walks around its grounds. Our room was full of character in keeping with the chateau and had all the facilities we needed. The food was excellent although somewhat expensive.

Everything was superb, all the staff were excellent but in particular Mattieu and Nubin (from Nepal) were especially knowledgeable and helpful.

We had 2 very good evening meals in the restaurant. waiting staff were excellent. Good rooms in the main building to sit and read or have pre-dinner drinks. Walks in woods were pleasant.
