We loved the proximity to the beach, the waterfront and shops including markets to pick up groceries. Bakery /coffee shop next door. New appliances worked great including clothes washer. Bathroom on both levels. Bed very comfortable. Paulo met us to check us in and give instructions, and helped us address a couple of issues promptly, and was terrific. Check-out was easy.

Superb apartment, with all the neccessary equipment and amenities. We would have wished to stay longer, so we will probably return. Air conditioning essential as the days tended to be somewhat hot. No problems with the soundproofing, despite having a bakery and a restaurant on the ground level. The marketplace - very well equipped as well - is just across the street. We appreciated also the calm of the resort, no loud music, no scandals. Thank you Paulo for being a gracious host that replied to all our questions and needs. Keep the same level!

This is a lovely property in a fantastic location and we were warmly welcomed on our arrival by Joana. We had the two bedroom first floor apartment for myself, my husband and our teenage daughters (who shared a double bed). It was clean & well equipped with microwave/oven/hob/fridge freezer/coffee machine/washer dryer/iron - and plenty of glasses, plates, cups, etc. A nice touch was the extra bits and pieces like washing machine capsules/loo roll/coffee capsules/teabags/kitchen roll/washing up liquid etc. We had two bathrooms in this apartment also – one with a good sized shower and the other was just a toilet and sink - really useful! There are Aircon units in each bedroom & in the living area. We had a balcony off the kitchen area with a sofa and table. This proved to be an excellent vantage point for the beautiful town of Costa Nova. The apartment is above a restaurant & beside the local market so there’s plenty of activity going on and it was a pleasure to sit out with a glass of wine and observe the world going by. Lots of restaurants & a couple of supermarkets just a short walk away. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk and is absolutely stunning. There were some umbrellas (presumably left by previous guests) in the foyer area of the apartments that we used on the hotter days. All told, we had an excellent 1 week stay and I would recommend. I had some concerns about previous reviews mentioning the noise of the restaurant below, but this didn’t cause us an issue.
