This was a lovely romantic getaway for my husband and me. It was a quiet and private location and we felt very safe and welcome. We made a last minute booking for one night and extended it for 2 more nights because we were so happy and comfortable. We did not want to move from there for our visit to Corumbau. We rented bicycles from Eco Trilhas for one day and took a tour with Danny to watch the sunset at night. Corumbau is so beautiful and it was the perfect trip for us. Danny was the perfect host and gave us a list of things to do in Corumbau before we arrived so we could plan our trip better. The beaches are so beautiful and we left feeling rejuvenated. We highly recommend Retiro da Ira and we would love to come back here.

We stayed at Retiro da Ira for 2 nights and it was really great. We loved the peace and quiet and sitting around the fireplace at night. The beaches are paradise. It was good that we could cook our own meals instead of having to eat at the restaurants all the time, which are very expensive. We wanted to get away from the city and it was the perfect escape. We are from Vitoria and will definitely come back here. We loved it and the hosts are great.

Nice and cozy place. There is a pool that we spent most of our time in. It is a really nice place to relax in. The wifi was good and we were able to stream on Netflix easily. The rooms were well decorated and had everything we needed. It is a great getaway with friends. We will definitely be back!
