This was my second stay at Safestay Córdoba Mezquita-Catedral, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. Whether you're traveling solo, with friends, or with family, this is the ideal place to stay. Nestled right in the heart of the old town, the location couldn't be more perfect—just steps away from Córdoba’s most iconic sites. The building itself feels like a piece of history—charming, peaceful, and immaculately clean. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, making it easy to feel at home from the moment you arrive. The staff truly make the experience special. Always welcoming and ready to help with a warm smile, they go out of their way to ensure your comfort at any time of day. One of my favorite features is the terrace—perfect for enjoying a quiet breakfast or a relaxing evening meal with beautiful views. The rooms are cleaned daily, and there are plenty of secure lockers available, so you can feel safe and worry-free throughout your stay. And the value? Unbeatable. During my last stay, I originally planned to stay for three days while traveling solo, but ended up extending my stay for another three—and I’m so glad I did. Next time I come to Córdoba with my family, I won’t hesitate to book here again. Safestay offers everything you need: safety, serenity, and genuine hospitality.

It's a beautiful building with a ancient Andalusi design. Staff super friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money in the current accommodation landscape. First time I was able to afford my own room with private bathroom in Europe. I hope they keep it that affordable. Room was very quiet and had aircon, a tv and a bedside table with a lamp. Huge roof terrace with several different zones.

This hotel has characteristics of an Arab past and is located right in the centre of Cordoba. Prices often significantly lower than other establishments, I am surprised by the review scores which could perhaps be higher given the good quality of the building and services. I often see hostels that achieve high ratings thanks to the capacity for dialogue of all the staff, who have a good interaction with the clients, who are mostly young people, I am not saying chronologically, I am referring to their traits of dynamism, vitality, flexibility and open-mindedness, sociability, modernity, creativity, desire to grow and learn. When customers feel welcome, find an environment that reflects their state of mind, in which they can dialogue and interact, and do not feel that they are only a source of income, in an alien environment where they do not find space, dialogue and expression, their level of satisfaction increases, and consequently their permanence, with clear improvements in the economy, prospects and vitality of the environment. Where, on the other hand, the staff of a hospitality facility close themselves off in their own world and keep distance from the customers, managing them like a boring routine, I have noticed disastrous results. I believe these are tools that can make a difference.
