Accommodation is chalet style behind the pub beer garden Parking is simple and close by Clean rooms and reasonable space for a few days stay Food in the restaurant (while not cheap) is very good and the staff are excellent

The setting of the pub, and the rooms in a separate building behind, was great. All very attractive, with nice outdoor seating areas for enjoying a drink or a bite. The location at the end of the historic high street is wonderful, with a large number of dining options available. Accessibility to the beautiful Thames Path was a huge plus as well. In the pub dining rooms, food quality and presentation at dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Inside the room, the bed was very comfortable. There was a fan available (stored in the cupboard) to cool the room down, which was appreciated. Bathroom was well-appointed, with excellent soap and shampoos, and the large bath towels were exceptional!
