The location is fantastic and literally a short 2 minute walk to the beach. Beautiful little beach house that has been renovated and a perfect size for a small family. You can hear the penguins under the decking, but unable to see them under there. If you are lucky, you will see them on the deck, however I sleep too early and so do the kids so we did our penguin watching in Burnie and also the beach at night, watching them come in and walking to their burrows. The beds were really comfortable and I had a great sleep. I really like that there is a music room/study that has a guitar and large keyboard. The house has all utilities like netflix, tv, playstation 4 much to the delight of my 7 year old. Please be aware that the house connects to a garage that is used by a tenant or other short term stays so you are connected and I believe the water might be shared with them. This did not impact our stay in any way but just something to be aware of. Also be mindful this area is sort of industrial, not close to shops so you do need a car to get around.

The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had new paint inside and out and new carpet. The bed was very comfortable and the shower good. It is located just north of Burnie and made a good base to explore NW Tasmania.

The house cleanliness, location and all facilities were above expectations. The appearance of fairy penguins every evening upon darkness at the front deck was not only above expectations. was absolutely fabulous. Thoroughly recommend this property to anyone and is a credit to the owners and their recent renovation.
