The location was great and just a short drive to get to see other areas. Evening food menu has good choices... I recommend the Gladstone burger, a fabulous looking beef burger really tasty too but a little expensive. A full Welsh breakfast in the morning was also delicious. Staff are friendly and polite Room has a mountain view ( but only if you stand on a chair to see out the window)

Great location for reaching the places on our itinerary (Penrhyn Castle, Snowdon, Bodnant Gardens). A very welcoming establishment. Wonderful view from our room across Conwy Bay towards Anglesey and Puffin Island (we were blessed with the best weather). Fine ales available in the bar. Good food. Staff provided tourist information that made us wish we had more time to explore.

The Gladstone is a lovely place to stay if you're visiting Conwy. The pub side has plenty of space, a great selection of drinks, and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The accommodation is really nice, with tastefully appointed rooms and good facilities. The breakfast was brilliant, and the views of the mountains and the bay were stunning. Although we didn't eat there that evening, the food we saw coming out to guests looked delicious. Also, Gavin, who welcomed us, was superb! We hadn't managed to find anywhere in Conwy on the day of our arrival (Saturday) with space for 2 people for dinner around 7.30pm. Gavin offered to try and sort something for us and went out of his way to call round a number of places and got us a booking at the castle hotel in the town, which was spot on. This personal touch on a busy Saturday was hugely appreciated. We are so glad we stayed - thank you for making our trip so good!

Love love this place, 100%fab, guys were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. My little doggy Eric was spoilt. Would recommend this hotel highly, and room 2 had a fantastic sea view. Will be back to see you guys 😘💙💙

The staff at the Gladstone were very friendly, it has a great location with absolutely stunning views across the beach. The rooms were very large for the price and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was really tasty and we had dinner on our second evening which was also very good. Best yet it's dog friendly.

Staff were exceptional. Room was clean and tidy. Bonus entertainment from locals in the evening much appreciated. A bit out of town but that was why we booked it.

Amazing view from Room One overlooking the Irish Sea and the Menai Straits. The food was exceptional. We had an evening meal and a cooked breakfast both were delicious and of superior quality. The host Gavin was very attentive and full of local knowledge. Very pleasant and easy to talk to which made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend a stay here!!!
