Good size accomodation, with decent size TV and table and chairs. Good coffee making facilities and having a fridge is a bonus. The accomodation was within walking distance of some lovely woodland walks.

The location was quiet as it was rural however was located on the main road. Our room was at the rear of the property so I expect that we were fortunate not to have the rumble of the road during our stay. Our room was spacious and easy access. It was in the main clean, bedding and towerls were good but see my "didn't like" comment. Check in was very easy.

The hotel is ideally situated for a quick stop over and we were given a warm welcome and shown to where we were staying. On both occasions we were able to park outside the door of the room. We have a dog so it is ideal for her and there is good dog walking nearby. The room is well equipped with the usual en-suite, tv, kettle etc, but both rooms had a fridge, which was useful as we had picnic food that needed to be kept chilled. Everything is clean and the beds are comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast this time as we had a long journey back south and had to leave early, but we had it on the way north and it was a good continental breakfast.

We were pleased that there is a little fridge. Useful to keep picnic things fresh such as milk. And there was a freezer section which was useful for refreezing our chiller blocks. A good continental breakfast with a wide choice. Nice fresh loaf to cut to make toast not just sliced bread.
