Guest houses Overview

Located near the M3 highway, The Dongola Guesthouse offers contemporary rooms, solar heated pool, an in-house library along with views of Constantiaberg. It has free Wi-Fi and laptops for common use.
Spacious and decorated with modern furnishings, each guest room has en suite bathroom fitted with bathroom amenities and fluffy bathrobes. They also have a satellite TV.
A la carte breakfast menu is served every day in the landscaped gardens next to the 9m long pool, where guests can also enjoy views of the Table Mountain National Park.
The Dongola Guesthouse is 20 minutes drive away from the V&A Waterfront. The beaches and the Steenberg Golf Estate are within a a15-minute drive. It is a short drive away from the shopping venues, restaurants and vineyards.

This suite has a large living room furnished with a double sofa bed and two armchairs, a 42-inch plasma TV, air conditioning/heating, a kitchenette with ceramic hob, sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery, with a four-seater dining area, a private entrance and a small terrace with a table for four with chairs. The bedroom has a king size bed (extra length), percale linen, desk/dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space and has both a ceiling fan, air conditioning/heating, hairdryer and a small TV. The large ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower, and complimentary bath products. There is free WIFI all over the place. The Suite Spot can be linked to the Haven, through interleading doors, creating a 2 bedroomed private apartment. The apartment could sleep 4 to 6 perfect for a family holiday or for a long staying couple who want to entertain occasionally or self cater. Size: 60 m2

We had a wonderful stay at The Dongola Guesthouse. Located next to a nature reserve corridor, it is a wonderful place to sit outside close to the pool and enjoy the peaceful environment. Karin and Claudio, the owners, are kind hosts who personally care about the infrastructure, all the workflow and especially about the wellbeing of their guests. Together with their well managed team they create a perfect experience. The trustful atmosphere and pragmatic advices lead to carefree days and undisturbed pleasure. Natalie presents the good spirit of the house since many years - I especially loved her breakfast with eggs and salmon! Usually, we do not depend on any special advices during our trips to foreign countries. Claudio understands to reflect the very personal preferences of his guests and gives appropriate recommendations where to go, where to drive and where to stop. We appreciated all your hints, Claudio! Enjoying the sunset at the terrace at Strand was just one of the great experiences we would have missed without your guidance. Thank you for these relaxing and inspiring days! We will be back.
