Stayed here for 2 weeks whilst waiting for my new property to be ready after my sale went through early. Beautiful house, very clean and cosy, felt very much at home. Host was a lovely lady who was just a phone call away if needed Would definately reccomend

The house is located in very close proximity to our family who live in Consett. On opening the door the place is bright and airy. Plenty of room for 4 if we had anyone else with us. The owner had ensured we had plenty of cleaning items if needed and plenty of clean utensils, crockery and cutlery. In the kitchen Ann the owner had provided a welcome hamper comprising of tea, coffee, biscuits, bread, milk in the fridge and 2 pots of instant porridge and some pain au chocolat which was a lovely surprise. Upstairs the bathroom has a shower over the bath and Ann the owner had provided plenty of luxurious feeling towels. There are 2 bedrooms 1 twin with 2 single beds and the double where we stayed. The bed is cozy and comfortable with clean bedding. Ann phoned us the next day to see if everything was fine and kindly popped in to assist with the heating control as the weather had turned colder. There is parking either outside in the road at the front or at the rear there is more off street parking.

The house was like going home absolutely beautiful will definitely book again when I'm bak in the area. The owner rang to check we wear fine and had arrived she was lovely and the little breakfast hamper was a fantastic touch. They is not enough words to say how beautiful it all was thank you so much for making our trip nice as we wear there for my grandma funeral xxx
