Great location for walking/hiking either down to Coniston water or to the "Old Man" or any of the other many trails, you can literally walk straight from the cottage. Great views out across fields from all windows. As well as the main upstairs bathroom, there is a downstairs shower room and toilet which made things easier and quicker for the four of us in the mornings. Parking is opposite the cottage on a wide section of the road rather than a marked bay, which was fine for us but as others have said, could be concerning if you have young children. Nice pub at the end of the road and deli next to it (didn't use the deli).

Quiet location near Coniston,, building is cool temperature wise, with a wonderful view of the old man of Coniston. Kitchen has a lot within all electric and downstairs toilet and shower is good quality, the toilet and shower upstairs is older fashioned
