The house was cosy and comfortable and the view of the lake is lovely. There was plenty of walks for us right from the doorstep which was perfect and Coniston itself has plenty of places to eat and drink and is only a 15 minute walk to most of them. There are regular buses every day to Ambleside (where you can get connecting buses) from the village, which was very handy as we don't like to take the car out if we can help it when we're away 😊

Excellent location- with a great pub across the road, nice walk to Coniston water. Loved the cosy cottage - comfy sofa and beds, good shower with plenty of hot water, excellent towels and nice kitchen. Felt more spacious than it looked on the photos. Great value for money. Would visit again😀

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Ideally located with Coniston village and the Ship Inn a short walk away. Beautiful view of the lake.

Great location near Coniston, fantastic views of the lake. Close to the lake walks and the hikes. The property was spacious and comfortable.
