What an amazing & relaxing stay. Rose made us feel so welcome into this beautiful property. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The views from the breakfast room and lounge were beautiful, rolling countryside for as far as the eye could see. Table and chairs were situated outside so you could sit and relax completely just watching the birds and sheep. It was so peaceful with virtually no noise at all. The bedroom was large, very dark and the bed was so comfortable that you didn't want to get up. My smart watch gave me sleep scores in the mid 90s for both nights. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and cooked & left us feeling full until the afternoon. We really didn't want to leave & will definitely return again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ladderstile Retreat - what an incredible experience! After a long and complicated train journey, Rose made sure that there was a log fire and a hot chocolate to help warm me up from the rain. This was just the start of a lovely stay with Rose at her accommodation - I cannot compliment her hospitality enough. The location is gorgeous and calm, and the facilities were brilliant. It felt like a true home away from home, and I had a great nights sleep in a comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast in the morning. Rose is truly a star and exudes kindness - she has truly considered all of the little details to make a stay as comfortable as possible. You will not be disappointed with a stay here at this lovely place.

Everything. Rose was and is more than a host. We weren’t expecting the level of service we received. She really does care about your stay. Our daughter loved Rose and actually cried when we left. See you sooner rather than later Rose
