The room was very comfortable and spacious. Nicely decorated and bright and airy. Welcome was warm and the afternoon tea lounge was lovely. Gardens really lovely and well maintained

The Alexandra Court Hotel is a gem! It’s set in beautiful gardens with great access to Congleton. Our room was spotless, comfortable bed and very tastefully decorated too! Best breakfast we’ve had in a hotel in years. We will be returning!

As we asked for a twin room I think the only one available had a wet room. This is not really very good as all the floor gets wet when the shower is used but we managed. The cooked breakfast is very good and the scrambled egg was perfect. My husband found the cold breakfast options a little boring. I would have liked some fresh croissants, but that is just my personal preference. We were at the front of the hotel which has quite a lot of traffic passing, but the slight noise from it did not bother us. The staff are very pleasant and polite and everywhere is spotless. Beds are very comfortable. We found this was a very good base for visiting the gardens we wanted to see in this area, such as Biddulph grange and Trentham estate. There is a nice garden at the back of the hotel and a covered seating area.
