Absolutely perfect Martha was a lovely host couldnt do enough for us great location lovely river view super comfy bed great shower and a breakfast to die for what more could you want

What a find. Amazing place so welcoming and full of helpful tips for the area. Room lovely and warm and cosy very comfy bed. Breakfast was so good and so much to choose from.

Ryan's River Lodge B&B is located in the heart of the small town of Cong, about 45 minutes outside of Galway. Ryan's provided everything we needed for our stay: Clean rooms and bathrooms, a good amount of space within the room to move around and stow luggage, a lovely view of the stream across the street, and a good breakfast in the morning. The staff were very helpful, and Martha (the proprietor) went out of her way to engage with us on our second day of our stay after she missed seeing us on the first day. The property is close to hiking trails; routes and guidebooks for inspiration are available at the lodge. Visitors can try horseback riding and other activities via the nearby castle. Cong is a good stopping point for checking out Galway and then launching to the Connemara area.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. The location is in Cong overlooking the river, a short walk from everything. There are allocated parking spaces right outside the property. All of the staff were exceptionally pleasant.
