When you’re very lucky, you find these ‘gems’ and it makes you very happy! Juli and Alfredo are charming hosts, who have built the most amazing little estate next to the river between Argentina and Uruguay. We stayed in the guest house, beautifully and tastefully decorated, the perfect cosy getaway. Our hosts not only welcomed us like family and gave us a tour of the property, they cooked us a top-class 3 course dinner (with a bottle of wine), breakfast and lunch to go. You can explore the gardens, walk to the river, fish, eat fresh mandarins from the orchard and feel at peace. Of course, we will come back!
