Loved the garden view, and loved that I had a separate door to access the room. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts charming and welcoming.

Stunning views from the property. Our room was very clean and we loved the ‘retro’ style. My partner and I ate a wonderful English breakfast cooked by Roland, and enjoyed this in the dining room whilst admiring the rolling hills and birdwatching. Roland and Su were extremely welcoming and knowledgable about the local area/wildlife. Can’t recommend Aquila Retreats enough for a relaxing break. Really beautiful location, easy to navigate and close to town as well as a lovely walk down by the river. The owners were attentive, welcoming, helpful and breakfasts were delicious
