The villa maintained it's original architectural style from the 1800s and was nicely renovated in the 1930s, preserving much originality. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A short walk to the old centre. Breakfast was superb for Italian standards - and also generally speaking. The best was the staff: warm, welcoming, simply a pleasure to meet and be around.

Villa Platamone is set within beautiful gardens and is a very picturesque property with some incredible history! The rooms are spacious and well kept. We loved the staff and how friendly everyone was. If yoy want to experience Como in all its beauty, Villa Platamone is the place to stay.
