There was a fire accident during our stay. But the hotel staff taken care of the situation very well and provided alternative accommodation immediately which is also very good.

The hotel is old, the photos on booking do not correspond to reality. The rooms are dark, there are no lights, you feel like you are in a bad hotel. The price is very high in relation to the quality. The hotel does not deserve 4 stars. Average breakfast buffet provided that there are guests, if there are no guests then a modest breakfast. An additional fee is required for early check-in, there is no possibility of late check-out. Two days before they asked what time we were leaving, it was unpleasant - they wanted to get rid of us from the hotel as soon as possible. The rooms have no ventilation, there is a musty smell. I do not recommend, look for another hotel.

Excellent place to stay, spotlessly clean, the best matresses in 18 days trip. . We had a problem with some rude and noisy neighbours and the 2 young men in charge promptly gave us another room. 👍👍👍That was during the night of 17 November. We are very grateful to these employeés.

The location is excellent, right next to the Dutch Hospital and Galle Face Green in walking distance. We used it as a convenient stopover to spend the afternoon and evening before heading to the airport at 11 pm. We received a room upgrade due to the issues mentioned below. The upgraded room was spacious with a good shower.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I broke a bone in my ankle and they really helped me find where to go to get medical help. Also my luggage bag got damaged and the staff mended it for me for free!
