A little bit away from civilisation, you need to use tuk tuk to go to buy any food or have dinner somewhere else.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights and had a mostly pleasant experience. There were definitely some great aspects, but also a few things that could be improved. One of the highlights was the housekeeper, who was always around and incredibly friendly and kind. He did his best to support us and made us feel very welcome. Another big plus was that the Wi-Fi worked very well, and the air conditioning was excellent, keeping the room cool and comfortable even in the heat. The owner was also extremely helpful and always available. He gave us great advice for our onward journey and activities in the area, which we really appreciated. It was also very kind that we were able to leave our bag at the hotel and pick it up again when we returned to Colombo. This level of service was really thoughtful and made our travels much easier. However, there were some areas that could be improved. The cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better, and the mattress had many unpleasant stains, which made it feel like it needed to be replaced. Another issue was that the rooms could not be completely darkened, so it was quite bright in the morning. Additionally, the walls were quite thin, making the rooms a bit noisy at times. Overall, we had a good stay, thanks to the wonderful staff and helpful owner, but improving cleanliness and comfort would make this hotel even better.

Jeanga was super friendly and he prepared to us delicious meals and help us with transportation. The dog in the house so cute. The view from the room is stunning and the terrace is a good spot to enjoy your coffee. We will be back ❤️

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay here. It's surrounded by greenery, the bed is great, the shower even better. Would definitely recommend!

Peaceful and beautiful house with welcoming family vibe. Nice staff to take care of you and delicious food available. Even provided me with a yoga mat so I can exercise on the rooftop - everything I needed when first arriving in Sri Lanka.
