Hotel was beautiful. A bit of luxury before back packing and after a long day of travel. Staff were friendly, kind and super helpful. Lovely food and the bar was a really relaxing atmosphere. Couldn't fault it. The room was large with a view of both the sea, railline and the city. The balcony was small and with no airflow, so not somewhere you would choose to sit but the rooftop bar was so lovely you didn't really need a balcony. Pool was lovely with beautiful views, bit of an insta hotspot come sunset but good to watch them all clamber into the pool and do their thing from a distance.

This hotel was a really pleasant surprise. We weren't expecting too much as we chose it purely for our last night in sri lanka before we left the following morning. Our expectations were surpassed. The fitness centre was great and overlooked the ocean, there was a sauna and jacuzzi which were both really nice to use after a long day driving and the rooftop pool was amazing. For dinner we had the buffet which was 6600 rupees per person and had an exquisite selection of food. One minor critique I would make is the door to our room didn't close if you simply left the room which was a bit annoying as you had to always go back and close it again. Also, the shower, whilst beautiful and also overlooking the ocean, was very slow to drain and after two of us showered it would be somewhat submerged. Overall though very minor complaints. Whilst colombo itself isn't the best place in sri lanka, I would recommend this hotel if you are staying here

The hotel is beautifully located in front of the sea, the position is comfortable to visit Colombo. The room is big and clean. The pool at the 27 floor is really nice.

Lovely sea view room, handy location & good value overall. The pool/bar area on top (27th) floor was very nice too (even allowing for the various extra charges/taxes mounting up on the bar bills...though to be fair higher end places did this in Colombo a lot more than the rest of the country). Staff were approachable and friendly.
