The staff were very friendly! We came in very early with an overnight bus from Paris and the staff were more than happy to let us stay in the lounge and check in early. We were very grateful! The location was very good! Metro was in walking distance from the hotel and could easily take it two stops to the Koln Cathedral. I loved that because we didn’t opt for room service we got a free drink, very good for the environment and a nice touch.

The location was great, albeit hidden away from street view, so a little difficult to find at first. The staff were lovely and the underground parking was clean and secure.

Our stay at Ruby Ella Hotel Cologne was truly exceptional, and a large part of that is thanks to the outstanding staff. In particular, we would like to highlight Hamza, who was incredibly polite, calm, and genuinely helpful. He handled our situation with remarkable professionalism and ease, making everything seem effortless. What could have been a stressful moment was resolved within minutes, thanks to his quick thinking and caring approach. Hamza is a truly kind and professional gentleman who represents the hotel at the highest level. We would also like to commend all staff members in Cologne, who were consistently friendly, attentive, and empathetic towards their guests. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome, valued, and well taken care of.

Fab interior, lovely bar, great breakfast.. loved the option to skip housekeeping & have cocktail… and the cocktails were great. Staff friendly & efficient.. would definitely return.
