Breakfast was okay because we did not expect much from a youth Hostel. The Room 606 on the 6th floor with a private bath and toilet was good and clean. The public free parking in front of the Hotel is a plus point.

I liked the sigle room #129, recommend particularly this one. No smells, spacy, even bathroom, which is quite rare thing, pretty comfortable bed and pillow, and in the morning really good breakfast. And of course, free parking just nearby the hostel it's a convenient option.

In general, I love hostels that cater to young people, as well as people of all ages and walks of life. There are always interesting people around, such as solo travelers and families with children. The kids feel free to walk up to the front desk and ask questions. The hostel is located in a park not far from the city center (two or three stops away), which makes it feel more like a guesthouse, vacation home, or countryside health camp from my distant childhood. The nearest station is a ten-minute walk away. I was traveling with a partner. We booked a double room for a couple of nights. The room turned out to be warm and cozy. There were two sets of towels per person with no extra charge or deposit. You can air out the room, but its proximity to the airport might inconvenience some guests. That said, after long walks, we slept like logs with the windows closed. The bathroom had a bar of soap and a dispenser with liquid soap in the shower. The room had a TV with cable channels. Here's a little tip: It’s best not to use aerosols near the smoke detectors in the rooms. There’s a warning about this on the mirror, but I suppose not everyone pays attention to it. If you’ve booked breakfast, you won't regret it. In our case, it included an omelet. I've always liked this option because it's better than hunting for another fast food restaurant. Plus, it’s a chance to meet and chat with someone. The dining room is cozy with windows overlooking a lush garden. If you’re observant, you might spot some rabbits. Or a little boy running laps around the grounds early in the morning. If I understand correctly, lunch is also an option. The staff is always friendly. The lovely ladies will explain everything during check-in and will be ready to answer any questions you may have. The organization of children’s activities deserves special mention. You can always find relevant announcements near the front desk.

The hotel is located near a tram line which allows for easy travelling; it's not far (15-minute walk) from the Kölner Zoo, which is a must-visit! The breakfast was good, plenty of choice.
