Property has a homely feel, staff were all lovely and moved me quickly to another room when there was a problem with the window. Rooms were clean and bigger than I expected.

GARNI HOTEL IN THE HEART OF KÖLN in the 80's style if you want to take a time ride back to the 80's german hotel style look, go and book a room in this Ilbertz Hotel. The lights, the colours , furnitures But the breakfast, was so delightful, that it should beat the five star hotels, the lady serving freshly the scrambled eggs, was in the oldfashion grandma style, fits to the 80's style . go and book thid hotel if you want to catch the happy golden era feeling of germany in the 80's.

Very good location. You just have to cross the bridge to be in the center of Köln. The staff is friendly and attentive. The beds are really comfortable and its quiet during the night.
