I was just passing through for a day. It’s a small, cosy hotel with a café downstairs on the ground floor. The River Rhine runs right opposite the hotel. I was lucky – I stayed in room number one above the café, with a lovely view. It’s a 15-minute walk from the main railway station. Cologne Cathedral is 5 minutes away. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive. Although the room wasn’t new, it suited me fine for one night.

The hotel is close to the city center and has a beautiful view by the river. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The architecture and location of the hotel are very interesting and charming. Although the breakfast was not very rich in variety, it was satisfying.

Location was great, on ground floor. Just a few steps into the building. Room was quite spacious. Floor was clean. You can easily adjust the heating in the room. There's a big fridge. Towels and toiletries were provided. We arrived earlier than check in time, so we left our luggage with the staff, toured the area, and came back to check in. Also for checkout, they were willing to keep our luggage until 1pm, while we went for lunch.
