The room was spacious and comfortable. We had evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious. The location was deep in the countryside, very tranquil and beautiful.

The views, very quiet, excellent service. The food is great. The location is good to use it as a central place to visit la toscana, and it feels very calm place, like the real toscana feeling.

We stayed at the hotel whilst walking the Via Francigena across Tuscany. The route passes Il Pietreto so it is an ideal place to rest for a night. Staff were friendly and welcoming. there are gardens around the hotel and plenty of seating. We enjoyed a swim in the pool before breakfast. The menu is not large, but the food was good and plentiful both at dinner and breakfast with options for a vegetarian diet.
