We loved the tranquility and the fact that there are only three apartments so you feel like you have the place all to yourselves. A secret hideaway surrounded by woods,olive trees and nature. Perfect for evening walks. Approached by a very long and beautiful tree lined driveway. The property can't be seen from the road and the only sign is to the ancient church that sits in the grounds. Close to Volterra, San Gimignano and Col di Val d'elsa and well positioned for Siena and the Val D'orcia. The apartment was large, stunning and beautifully furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The pool was amazing and in an idyllic setting. Daniela was an amazing and generous host and we felt so at home at La Pieve.They produce their own extra virgin olive oil that you can purchase. 10 stars is not enough to properly rate this property. I wish there were more stars to give it. It's a truly stunning paradise and is everything that you could wish for in a Tuscan stay and more. It's the essence of Tuscany.

The house and surrounding area are beautiful. Also, facilities are superb and the host was very nice and kind. This is the perfect place to relax and wind down in the Italian landscape.

The location was idyllic and our apartment was huge: a beautifully renovated stable with superb views over the countryside. The pool was fabulous, sitting among olive trees, and our host, Daniella, was absolutely lovely!
