Raffaella’s home is simply wonderful. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful Cesa Dele Angele and the village of Colle Santa Lucia are. The home is very unique, and the interior is made entirely of wood. It is modern yet traditional and very tastefully decorated. The home was spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom even had a sauna that my husband and I made use of every night. The bed was very comfortable, which is a first for Italy! The fridge was stocked on our arrival with juice, milk, water, and yogurt. There was also a basket of condiments, and a jar of homemade plum jam that was delicious. Raffaella was a delightful host who was very helpful and responsive and couldn’t do enough to help. The view from one of the three balconies is truly breathtaking, looking onto the stunning mountains and a meadow. On our first morning, there were two young Roe Deer doing “zoomies” in the meadow, which was so sweet and funny to see. We enjoyed a delicious coffee every morning at the bar/hotel directly across the road. It was nice to sit and hear the locals chatting. There was definitely a lovely community feel. We had three nights and wished we could stay longer. I really hope to return one day. It is by far the nicest holiday accomodation we have ever stayed in.
