The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a tiny kitchenette and a sliding door that led to a separate space outside. The bath was spacious too, and having a hot bath after a long drive was magic for my tired body. The staff are always absolutely lovely, from reception to the cleaning staff - everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. Loved the little thoughtful gestures, like all the options for hot drinks in the morning and the extra blankets in case we were cold. It really felt like they tried their best to make us feel welcome. I've stayed in Crane Cottage three times now, and every time, I felt safe and welcome.
