Friendly welcome, comfortable room with well stocked fridge for breakfast. I liked having breakfast in the privacy of my room and good to have a full size mug of tea. We were going to a wedding at the castle and it was very handy for that, a short walk up the road.

Ideal for what you need. Comfortable beds, lovely traditional pub and good service. We stayed for a wedding at Clearwell Castle and the location was perfect.

Very friendly staff . Excellent location. We had a continental breakfast in our room , that was fresh and meant we could eat breakfast at a time that suited us . We had an evening meal in the pub , this was delicious.

The guys at the Butcher Arms we're great! They very friendly and super helpful when I had some questions/requests before arrival. Location is perfect for Clearwell Castle events!
