lovely little apartment for 2 people. Central location for the castle (which was why we were there). Cooking facilities were ok with the cooktop and a little mini oven too.

Beautiful furnished ground floor directly below the castle. Loved our stay here. Tastefully decorated with period features. Couldn’t ask for anything more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location - I think there is only one reason to visit Colditz and that is to visit the castle. This apartment was just outside the castle walls. Nice clean apartment. A double bed but only a single duvet - not sure why? The shutters on the front of the building didn't work properly so very diffiuclt to keep the light from the street lights from disturbing my sleep. An easy fix for someone with a ladder, I would think? The towels provided in the bathroom are a little small - bigger, flufy towels would make this accommodation a lot nicer
