Lovely staff and a great location. Bar area was nice and the room was clean and had everything required.

If you're looking for a wallet friendly place in the town centre, then this place is the business. I got the basic double room and expected it to be small. Fine for my needs. Will stay again. Oh, and it's not on the High Street with its aggressive drunks, junkies and ne'er-do-wells.

The location is very central and so for visitors to Colchester, it is very convenient. We were using merely as a place to sleep on our journey
