The villa is located in a wonderful picturesque place. The beach is nearby, there are bus stops to get to different beautiful locations, which is very important for me as a traveler without a car. The owners of the villa are very hospitable and welcoming, they create a friendly family atmosphere at the villa. I really enjoyed living at the villa and I will definitely return there. I can recommend this place from the bottom of my heart.

The entire experience was way more than what I expected from the description. It is a place full of history, with a superbe garden and pool, view to the ocean and the most welcoming and nice people. Thank you so much, I will definitely com back here if life will bring me again to Colares. 🙂

Amazing helpful hosts who were always up for a chat and to advise on good spots to visit in the area, this place would simply not be the same without Ms Margarida and Mr Domingos being there, it made it feel more like staying at a family's house which made us feel so welcome. The villa's gardens, pool and ocean sunset views have been amazing, and exactly what you wish for when booking a villa in such a lovely place. It was incredible to be a short 10 minute walk from the beach as well as so close to a very pleasant restaurant/bar cluster just down the hill where you can get amazing food, beer, and listen to live music on the weekends. It was really nice to see the villa cats running around and always up for saying hello, they were very sweet :)

Handy location up the road from a wedding we were attending. Staff were wonderful and very helpful and accommodating. Gorgeous gardens and pool. Felt very homely. Great to have access to a kitchen to store and cook our own food.
