This place is a dream and we would 100% come and stay here in every season! It's especially suitable for a couple looking for a romantic getaway, but there is also a second room so it would fir a family, too. The house is very well equipped, it's even more beautiful than in the pictures and the environment is breathtakingly beautiful! It's really private, there are only birds and deer and other woodland creatures around (we did see a deer and many birds). We loved the sauna and hot tub, the view, the fresh air, the history of the place, the fireplaces, everything! The hosts are a super nice family who welcomed us personally and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

The hosts were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. They met us on arrival to give us the keys and show us around. The house was very well equipped with a jacuzzi, private sauna, full kitchen equipment and washing machine. The location was so quiet and peaceful and you could really relax in nature. A wonderful bbq, homemade charcoal and a fire pit in a mountain garden with magical fairy lights made the evenings so special. We will definitely go back in the future and spend longer there. The Vipava wine region was close by and the Slovenian coast and Italy were only a an hour drive by car.
